Professor Hui Su, Chair Professor of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Director of the Institute for Space Science and Technology at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), "Global STEM Scholar", and Founder & Chairwoman of Stellerus Tech, joined HKUST after years of deep scientific research at NASA, continuously exploring the frontiers of space technology and climate science. In recent years, she has led her team to complete two major projects—the launch of the "HKUST-FYBB#1" satellite and the "MUSICO" (Multi-Spectral Imaging Carbon Observatory)—dedicated to using satellite remote sensing technology to monitor the atmosphere and continuously enhance observation and forecasting capabilities for extreme weather.
